I'm Back & with Goodies

I've been gone from my blog for quite awhile. Part of the problem is my continuing struggles with my health, family problems, including the death of my mother, while Shani (aka Wicked Princess Scraps) stopped designing, and my own creativity switched gears to writing and making tags because I was tired of problems with m Paint Shop Pro not o-operating in running scripts.

Finally, this month my design urge came back & I made kits for colour challenges and a blog train. Some are still in the process of being completed.
The colour challenge at the Digital Scrapbooking Studio was this palette

and I made a wintry snowman type kit

Then I created a second kit with the same colour scheme but with a more playful take on the winter theme.

Wicked Princess' Cutie Kei tag show-offs

I'm having trouble with my eyes, but managed to make 3 adorable tags with a kit from Wicked Princess Scraps called Cutie Kei, exclusive to The PSP Project. The kit is designed to coordinate  both with another designer kit  of the same name by Gimptastic Scraps, and a tube by Cute Loot called Fairy Kei.

I like the colors of these products & there are many other posers and tubes which can go with the kits.

This tag uses a poser by Sinful Mindz. Unfortunately her products are no longer available, but I just had to use this one because she looks like she is grooving' to the music.

The poser or 3D tube (as tube sites classify posers) is by Minka-Designs, and is available at Pics For Design. You must have a license to use this tube. She does a fair number of cute posers, and I like cute.

This tag uses a poser from Creations by Rain. It is no longer available, but her blog is loaded with freebies.
This is a fun kit to work with, and right now it's on sale!

Playing Catch Up

Today I am posting tags I created in March using kits by Wicked Princess Scraps. Both kits are named after close friends of Shani (aka Wicked Princess Scraps).

Using Soxie's World, available exclusively at The PSP Project and currently only $1! I made 4 tags.

The first tag is a special one, celebrating the new home Shani and her family have recently moved into. I used posers ©CuteNToonz to represent her children, peeking out the windows, but one could use cut out faces of one's own family members.

Tags 2 and 3 both use FTU tubes ©dicvicbarnes.com.

Tag 4 uses only materials from the kit.
Next I worked with Tasha's Playground.

Tag 1 uses tubes © Minka -Design available at Pics For Design. These tubes are PTU and you must have a license to use them.

Tag 2 uses only materials from the kit.

Tag 3 uses a poser © Medi (http://medievilcreations.blogspot.com). She is one of my favorite poser designers.
So, as you can see, you can get a lot of mileage from a kit by Wicked Princess Scraps. You can use a PTU poser or tube, run an internet search for "free posers/tubes" to find FTU posers and tubes, or make a tag using only the materials in the kit.

Dancing Queen

So I love the movie Mamma Mia & ABBA music, but when I first got Wicked Princess Scraps new kit Dancing Queen, available here or here, my ct mojo just packed up & left.  So I indulged in other creative outlets (colour challenges, photography, song writing, abstract art) & then went back to the kit the other day & mojo was back (yippee).

So I have created not only a quick page freebie for you to download, but I also have 4 tag show-offs to hopefully inspire you.

Country Summer (FTU)

I made a kit for the July colour challenge at the Studio & I just kept creating until I ran out of ideas, so Country Summer is a whopper- 609 elements & 49 papers, & a grand total of 35 zips, making up for a bit of a dry spell in my other creative activities. My beloved friend Sassy (A Simply Sassy Scrap Creation) has a new kit - Sweet Summer Nights.

Tea With Teddy - May colour challenge at the Studio

It was supposed to be a mini kit, honest, and I started out fine with only 10 papers in a 5 colour challenge, but then there were the elements, and I had picked a favorite theme, so... 132 elements later and a May 31 deadline, I stopped.
