Assortment using some KiKeKa kits

I'm sick (again, drat) so I've been somewhat absent. I notice some awards in my chat box & I hope it's ok if I wait til I feel well to pick them up.

I picked up a cute kit from KiKeKa back in December & am now able to post what I made with it, 2 quick pages & a tag (didn't get a tut written.

http://www.scrappinbratz.com/shoppe/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=19_32&products_id=2638 (tag)http://www.scrappinbratz.com/shoppe/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=19_32&products_id=2637 (full)

I've joined the CT for KiKeKa (crafted by Gina). She has an absolutely adorable new kit called "Where Fairies Reside".

http://www.scrappinbratz.com/shoppe/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=19_32&products_id=2828

Now your first reaction might be that this kit will make great girlie layouts, & you'd be right, but I decided to show how the kit can be used to showcase photos of boys. I've done 3 layouts using pictures of a friend's little boy, & made one layout into a freebie quick page for you.

Isn't he a sweetie? I loved how this kit let me highlight the photos & the natural playfulness of the little guy.

Enjoy.

December DSO - Holly-Daze

Okay, I finally finished my December colour challenge kit for DSO. I hope the links behave better this month than last month. I can no longer put it all in 1 folder & just share the folder - one is supposed to be able to do that, but when I checked the link Mediafire provided, it did not work. However, the individual links do seem to work. There are 14 zips - as usual, my creating got out of hand & I tried to keep the zip sizes managable for dial-up users.

Enjoy & have a safe, happy holiday.

Winter Magic

I'll admit it - there are certain designers whose work I really love working with. Crystal's Designs is one of those designers & right now she has 3 new kits out I love. I picked Magical Winter as a CT for digifox studios & that's the one I'll feature in this post, but I couldn't resist purchasing her Let It Snow kit! I'm definitely going to be playing with it too, unless the repairman comes for my computer. I really hope I get to work with her Roses & Lace kit, I think it would make a lovely desktop calendar for February. So I made you a freebie quick page, a desktop calendar freebie for January 2010, & a very fast, simple tag you can easily make.
Have I mentioned I love snowmen? I have a collection that I try to add a piece to every year. I even like to collect scrapbooking snowmen. The tag I made from this kit is very simple, but also very cute.
